Yarn Bombing for Culture Days
Yarn Bomb Yukon ♥ Culture Days, to celebrate Yarn Bomb Yukon is hosting an interactive Art Project – In celebration of the theme of this year’s Culture Days theme – What does Culture mean to you? We want to know exactly that. Come on by the Old Fire Hall for an interactive art project where you can write what culture means to you, look for the yarn bombed tree to submit your statements. You can stop by any time on Saturday from 12-5pm.
While you are there, check out the Cultural Expo, organized by the Yukon Arts Centre. Come meet the cultural community of Whitehorse at the Old Firehall in downtown Whitehorse. Great activities for the whole family including: live music, face painting, cultural expo, our famous “Mystery Tour’, Kids Kreate craft activities and market by the Potluck Co-op Society and lots more. Doors Open Yukon – here’s a chance to visit local historical sites all weekend, free of charge.
There are so many great events happening across Canada and here in Whitehorse in Celebration of Culture Days. Come on out, bring your friends, bring your family and be a tourist in your own town.
